wessex fire crews and oxfam crew stewerds dealt with a tent fire at a festival at 00.40 in the morning where the occupant changed her gas cylinder while having a tea candle in a jar alight the result was a fierce fire melting the tent over the occupant ,the occupant was taken to the burns unit with 2% thickness burns ,the fire crew dealt with the incident and saved the other tents and advised other tent users on site of the dangers involving gas cylinders

wessex fire crews dealt with another tent fire at the festival when at 11am we were called to a fire in the disabled camping area the 2 occupants had just changed the gas cartdridge in there portable stove when the cokker exploded in to a fire ball causing slight burns to 1 person and trapping the wheelchair bound occupant , the crew rescued both occupants safely and administered first aid and used the water knapsacks to cool the burns with water until on site medics arrived
